LIKE A DREAM

/Prologue

     'You can never imagine what human nature evolves into in the future.'

     That was the last thing you remembered before putting on the device that researchers gave you during the meeting. That was no ordinary VR headset, but a neuron-driven inserter. Truly, a masterpiece of your time.

     And they were right. You recalled everything the moment you fell asleep----or paralyzed. When you sink yourself into the warm water, the scenery of a mottled wonderland appears and extends into nothingness. Past and future unfold like a vivid fairytale, feels nihilistic yet nostalgic. 

     Deep inside your mind, a voice is calling you to wake up. When virtuality becomes reality, it is almost like a dream. It is a dream from which you can never escape.../
